Hi all,
I'm a newbie.� I am the forum moderator for the official Pete Best website.� I was searching for some reviews of the latest tour of the Pete Best Band to post on the website....lo and behold...I find this group.� We are looking for people to become participants of the Pete Best Street Team.� We are just starting out and membership definitely has its rewards...just ask those members who have attended some of the recent Pete Best Band shows.� Pete and the guys acknowledge the ST (we supply special badges for members to wear to any Pete Best event) and we rely on the ST to guide the band to partake of 'refreshments' after their shows.� The ST is still small enough to be personal, so...get in on the ground floor.� We are looking for anyone who is motivated enough to get out and post flyers, contact TV, radio, newspapers....(ST have the ability to set up interviews with these media outlets...we will show you how!)....

surprise, surprise....he is not only NOT dead...but, Little Steven has taken a shine to our Pete....he was brought to the States last year for a 'two off'....flown from Liverpool to New York...for a ten minute set. So....think you are completely mistaken. Oh...hope I don't have to explain who Little Steven is...Bruce Springsteen also thinks he is pretty special. Look to Shea Stadium in August....

erm...i meant i was dead. it was a joke. just like the whole pete best thing on this website, actually. i'm very well aware that pete best is still alive. i also happen to know who little steven is, thanks.

Actually, he was Miami Steve first, and then became Little Steven when he started his solo career in the early 80's.

And now he's New Jersey Silvio.

no worries...I didn't think you meant to be serious. I am just involved in promotions and found this website. 'joke' or not...I promote Pete when I have a chance. He brings a strong band to any venue and just making sure the word gets out. Plus...he is just a good guy. ...and you're welcome

The Pete Best Band is coming back to the east coast...

I don't want to promote a site...but, these are shows that have not been confirmed...New Hampshire, Massachusetts....and, then on to California!!! whoo hool....my stompin' grounds! We would love to see some of you at the shows....you definitely know in advance...NOW! Street Team members are more than welcome!
