| Location: | Chicago, Illinois | | About You: | I've never been very good at explaining myself. The old maxim 'actions speak louder than words' is appropriate and true, but doesn't always work. There's no timetable involved. So, if you use first impressions as a guide, I'm reclusive to a frightning degree. I tend (especially in groups of unfamiliar people) to tuck myself into a corner and watch people. I speak when spoken to, and volunteer as little as possible until I've determined my role in the group. Sadly, the 'first impression' crowd doesn't usually interact with me at this point, since I haven't entertained them.
Their loss. Once my place in the group is determined, I can be the resident music guy, the jolly giant, the goofy one, the brain, the sports guy, the photographer, the bartender or any of countless others (including the quiet guy in the corner... sometimes first impressions are dead on).
I enjoy music, which you probably guessed since you're here as well. I enjoy life, but try to avoid the extreme sides. I respect everyone... until they've proven their unworthiness.
I have a great community of friends, both at home and at FHDC. To Teri, Zil, ^kat^, eri, Andrea, Racer, Foof, Norg, Josh, Frulie, Sheryl, Betsy, Joy and all the others who have let me be a part of their lives... Thanks for the warmth, love, humor and companionship... the subtle reminders that no matter how bad it looks, at least you're not alone.
