I've been told good. I dunno. Unless they're liars that's the only way I'd know! :)

I've been told good. I dunno. Unless they're liars that's the only way I'd know! :)
well, see that's the thing. somehow you'd seem like a totally self-posessed weenie if you say you're good. but if you go by what the kissee says, they could just be lying for the nookie. it's confusing. so, fwiw, i've never gotten a less than stellar report. lol.
heheh the only reason I even feel confident enough to give a "good I guess" is that one ex (who wasn't ex at the time) told me that he and another ex had actually discussed my skills and deemed them rather darn good. Heeee. Bizarre to even think about that convo. :) One can lie for the nookie but I'd hope one wouldn't make up a weird story like that!
yes'm, that WOULD be overkill. lol. my bird gives good kisses. a soft peck on the cheek, literally.

if you're referring to the type of kisses that are quick pecks on the lips and cheek... they're kind of difficult to be "bad" at, and i kiss many of my friends in that way, so i trust they'd tell me if it was an unpleasant thing...
alas, if you're referring to the prolonged kind wot uses tongues and varying degrees of slobber... i've only ever partaken in that activity once, and the recipient seemed to enjoy it... alas, i was a drippy giddy pile o' wormy at the time, so my judgement may have been skewed a bit. i'm not sure. uh. meow.

Up until last year, most of my kisses were stage kisses. Someone told me that every time we practiced, every time I had to kiss my leading man, he forgot his lines. heh heh. i guess that says something . . .
your new icon is cute!
that has nothing to do with anything.
I agree, just didn't know where to comment, and Renita has a new one too that is nifty.
On another, more sublimely disgusting note, I gleek like mad. You know, gleeking? When your saliva shoots out of your mouth while you're talking in a steady stream? Once I gleeked my drummer in the eye. Like that dinosaur from Jurassic Park. He said it burned. Thatwas a fun show. ...the ability to spit on food and digest it outside your body? You're the fly! :)
There are worse things to be. I think he's hella cute. :)
that is hilarious! thanks to you, now i know what to call that when it happens! *gives you a pony*
When I was a kid we called it "geezing" (hard g) and people would geez on each other on the bus to gross them out. :)

My first kiss at 16 was horrible. My next kiss at 18 was worse. Kissing has gotten much better since, and I am good at it. (I also offer free samples, and lessons ;)
that totally works(get it, works...worshop...hehe) for me! I'll be in upper camp. (I am also availabe for private lessons ;-)
good idea, I mean, I have to see if you really have what it takes to run a workshop. what exactly are your qualifications?
oof... first kiss...
It was a bad experience, not because the kiss was necessarily bad. I wouldn't have been able to tell, frankly. It just didn't make sense to me. He kissed me and I tried to reciprocate and to any outside observer I think it would have looked like it was going fine, but it didn't click for me at all. He told me that I was good, but I was thinking about it the whole time. It wasn't really me. That happened 4 more times with 4 different guys before it finally worked. And he's never told me explicitly whether I was good or bad, but after five and a half years he doesn't seem too bothered by it. Then I kissed a girl and that worked right away.
girls (from my limited experience) are softer than boys, take more time, test things out. *sigh*
My first kiss at 16 was horrible too--the boy just shoved his tongue down my throat and his breath stank and... i came home from the date remarking "kissing is vastly overrated" luckily it got better over the years! As for my own performance, it seems to have pleased people. It's hard to say beyond that-- it's not like I've ever kissed myself!
Well, speaking as someone who has kissed her, in a state cerimony and everything, she makes me weak in the knees when I kiss her. I can recall several times she has made me fall over because her kisses are so good! When she brushes her teeth, which she does all the time (ORAL HYGENE!)and puts on strawberry lip balm, she tastes good!

everyone has a different style and different preferences, so I don't think there's really a good measure for what makes someone a good kisser in general.
I haven't kissed that many people, but of those I have, some have liked it and some haven't. it's all a matter of preference. I don't even think it's so much preference as it is compatibility. When two people "fit" together, good or bad or indiffrent is moot. Because for those two, it's pretty damn perfect. And two people who would be technically "skilled" might fit together so awfully that they both hate it. I've had kisses that weren't necessarily bad...they just didn't fit well. But the cool thing about kissing is you can work on it and work it out so that your style meshes with someone else's. It just may not happen on the first shot. I dunno. In my life, I already have a guaranteed second shot before I even kiss the person. i.e. I don't kiss unless it already means something and therefore the person's probably as invested in working on it as I am. But that's just me. I've never casually kissed. Is that weird? hee. I don't know anything but what I know...y'know? I only get to the smoochy point with people I know fairly well as a friend and decide there is more there. And a person who has been my friend and is interested enough to try the new level with me is not the type of person who would toss me aside if that first kiss sucked. I just can't really conceive of kissing someone under more casual circumstances. I don't think it's wrong, but it's not personally in me.
(heh. and wouldn't it be funny though if I was like "oh, but dude, casual sex...I'm SO down with that!" :) )

This poll is making me quote an exchange in the classic bad horror film, Horror at Party Beach
Do you think kissing is unhealthy? I don't know, I've never been. You've never been kissed? No I've never been sick.

well I think that since this was my poll that I should prolly put my answer here... I picked yeah I guess cause I'm not really sure, but I don't think I'm bad at it. ... I do tend to be ... very [VERY] agressive... and I bite... just ask talcotts tongue. and lips. and... I'll be quiet now. ;-)

So I am usually about humility but kissing is one thing I am good at. It is an art that I have perfected without much practice. Perhaps it was all the soaps i watched as a child. I just copied what they did but I dunno. I have only ever had positive reviews.
how about skipping? and aren't scissors considered tools for cutting?
