What is the correct order of these three things?
Yay, frulie, on the First Postage. But why can't I see your little avatar image? WHY? *pout*
yeah...we *think* it's somthing to do with the fact that I have a "" in my user name. It seems to mess up lots of things on my profile (mostly pics)
but I just live with it... I heard it works on other browsers too... on another note! (I never have been first post before! wahooo) ~J~
See Frlie we are family... (Music, Sex, Food... Mostly Sushi!) Yay for the first post!
Miss ya ~Karen
Karen! *hugs*

I'm sorry but the last choice is inherantly wrong, it is impossible for x>x. On all the choices there should have been greater than or equal too. Of course I can't figure out to to make the symbol on HTML
I hope everyone realizes I'm just kidding.

Doesn't the equation vary depending on your mood? I mean, I voted for "food>sex>music" but I think that's just cos I'm hungry right now. It changes constantly.
I know what I am in the mood for: Food>Sex>Music. But then here is another equation that works for me:
Ellen=Sex+Food
I think the point is that everyone has a different understanding of ">" - whether someone is ranking based on importance, pleasure, or desire, or anything else.
I was thinking of it this way: how far out of my way would I go for great music? How about great food? Or great sex? Whatever "great" means is specific to each thing. This way, I can compare the three in a thoughtful if not-so-serious way.
well, yeah. if we're ranking it on pure human need or something really basic, then there's no point to a poll. and what people -do- rank it on is where the comments and conversation come in.
i thought about it essentially like melissa did. i give up food for music all the time, so food is clearly less important to me than music is. (which isn't, of course, to say i don't eat - one look at me proves that. however, i'll live on an unvaried cheap diet if it means i can go to live music.) sex doesn't come into the equation at all.
I used to hate when my parents said " I remember when I was younger..." and now I'm doing it way too much. I used to agree with Jaci and would eat bread and water rather than go without a new release for very long (I think Jaci and I differ as although I enjoy going to concerts they rank behind the cd's in importance). I am more practical now (or just older). I find I need to be more careful to nourish the body in order to enjoy the whole experience of life, including music. And sex, well it's not as important as I thought it was when I was 17 and not gettin' any either.
i though it was chronological order, see :).
so music>sex>food for me. mmm.
At my market research job I used ">" once and had to get rid of it because my boss didn't know what it meant.
the ">" or the job?
(I still think of it as "the alligator wants to eat the bigger one")
i learned the concepts of "greater than" and "less than" in 1984. therefore, instead of using the alligator, our teacher used pac-man.
Actually I got rid of both. I missed the ">" I dont miss the job at all.

And here I was, thinking that the > was to indicate a linear progression, not a greater than. *sigh*
Yeah, that's what I thought too. I never realized it was a "greater than"...
it's the "left brainers"
they see things in a mathy way! we just see pretty arrows and stuff! :P ~J~
that's what I opted for. :D
food>music>sex sorry but the food is always first. ;D
RIGHT!!!!
mmmmm...grilled cheese sammiches. "Excuse me, but do you make the grilled cheese with yellow american...well I mean...Kraft Singles?" </me in any ontario town's restaurant during a frutrip. =)
I usually use Land O Lakes Yellow American cheese
But they don't seem to have that in Canada when making a Grilled Cheese. :o It's like going to Boston and Philly only to find out they make everything with swiss cheese. ICK!!!! Except in Noho where the Grilled Cheese was made with White American. That's okay. :) I don't own grilled-cheese.org and grilled-cheese.com for nothin'. ;) someone took .net before I could grab it. The nerve! ;)

But the problem with seeing them as being a progression is that they're not mutually exclusive. I hope. Eat Drink Man Woman, anybody?
I think the best of all possible worlds is a sexy food movie (or real-life dinner party) with a good soundtrack.

sex...by itself..meh...sex+music=WHHOOOOOHOO!! now, just add some dinner before or after that, and you've got yourself one heck of a night.
Depends on what's for dinner. If you had sex+music+food but than had moldy food that would ruin the sex. Or if you had meat.. yuck.. or macaroni and cheese *gagging* Or those pasta shells *runs to the bathroom to vomit*. My point is it's not all about sex+music+food It's about sex+music+good food. Which is the wrong order anyhow! It should be music+sex+good food.
It's about music+sex+good food? Oh, how I envy you! Your point suggests to me that you have experienced horrible food, but never encountered similarly undesirable sex and music. PLEEEASE SEND SECRET OF YOUR PHENOMENAL SUCCESS.
On the other hand, I may have misunderstood. In that case, you may as well append "good" to all three, or better still, let "good" be presumed and leave it out altogether. :)
Wait....shouldn't it be good music+good sex+good food...?
