I really wish I could afford to fly out. If I win the lottery before then, count me in. ;)

and so far the only one who would pitch in, too. let's represent, people! :D -= george =- hey! we have decided not to fly out to Barrie for a wedding, so we will be in town for sure! yay! We have a festival in Hope on the 9th and 10th, but the week before is dandy! Live music is always cool, but I think if we chipped in for food, and brought our own drinks and stuff, it would be just as fun! (or we could have a jam, or just pump the stereo with stuff everyone can groove to...thoughts?) Well I dunno, will there be pie? But seriously, if there was a happenin' party with all manner of cool Fruhead type people, (and I presume, as in previous years, some other hockey type people, but they were cool too) and it was happening close enough that I could walk to it (ok, it'd be a rather long walk) I'd have to be crazy not to clear my schedule, move heaven and earth, rob peter to pay paul, make a stitch in time, or any other cliche, metaphor or homily necessary to be there and be there often...I mean early. And dude, if everything pans out and it becomes the extravaganza you were talking about a few nights ago, consider the chip in a few bucks idea and rent a hall, keep your parents happy. Just a thought.
oh yeah, and as far as chipin' in for the music, sure. And for the food. Robin and I would love to offer to cater the food except that we are working days on the weekends as the managers of our apartment building. (Robin is actually the one getting paid, I'm on EI and well, its just easier this way)

you know how much I'd LOVE to make it out for your shindig!! but dude! its all the way over there!! *sigh* why can't "there" be "here" and why doesn't tofu taste like anything? unanswerable questions... so I did the next best thing and checked the box for "you suck". *grin* you are the englebert of my dreams! and you're nice and cute and lovable! oh wait... I mean... you're a fucker! ;-)

I'd really love to...it's a blast...but I'll be in a brand new job and will need to be working hella hard. I miss the leftcoasters. :(
Oooh...it would be awesome catering a Mike party. :) It would be good if the party-goers chipped in some money for food, since we are poor. Heh. Then we could cook up some fabulous stuff.

-if- i were able to depending on finances and timing, i'd SO be there and help kick in $$$!!!
but. my mom, who usually watches my dog when i galavant off and such, is going out of town that week...so it would just depend on investigating boarding him and such....which leads to extra mooola..... so...yah...that's my deal
bored, bored, bored....

I'd attend, I'd chip in, I'd carry stuff, I'd provide munchies. Damn straight. I missed last year's party'cause of a stupid gig. NO gigs this time. Whee!! The next weekend we're going to hear Dusty Shoes in Hope, 'cause they rock, but the week before would be awesome.
Lisa ROCKS! yeah! It would be great to see everyone. Hey, what about a pot-luck sort of deal for the "locals". We could make lots of food to feed the hungry "out-of-towners"! The ones who can't cook can bring pop and plates! heh! I'm willing to help out with just about anything! :D ~J~ Great idea! As long as it gets co-ordinated so that we don't all bring salad and the exact same dressing or something equally silly. My main concern is to spread a bit of the load tokeep Mikey from going totally overboard and burning himself out physically and fiscally. Besides pot-luck can be fun. Oh... nearly forgot. Julie ROCKS. Lisa ROCKS. In case you didn't know

I know that this is a somewhat duplicate poll that I had posted a while back to gauge reaction. Since it was getting closer to the date, I wanted to see what the current iew was like.
Right now it looks like I may scale down considerably what I had planned, as I don't know if I'll get the attendance that I'm looking for. But, I'm still working things out and trying to figure out what I'm going to do. Mike You must first create an account to post.
