We need to get rid of the penny. Then we should get rid of the dollar bill and add dollar and two dollar coins as Canada has done.
Yes! round all sales to the nearest 5 no more fishing through our pocketses for correct change.
See, I hate loonies and toonies. Mainly for the same reason that I hate pennies - by the end of a day of shopping, my pocket weighs 20 pounds. I tend to not use coins at all, actually. If something costs $5.42, I give them $6 or $10 whether or not I have 42 cents in my pocket. At the end of the day, I dump it all in a jar, and every couple years I have hundreds of dollars to cash in. *shrugs*
Oh, and kill the penny. the only thing I like pennys for is dropping a handful out my back window whenthebiker behind meis being a butthole... then I run for my life. or I don't to it at all and my imagination (skitzo) is making this all up. lalala. I plan on saving all my pennys and then paying young people to do gruling yard work for me and pay them in them, but as is traditional I wont give them more than .50 cents.
While we're at it, lets make pi = 3. Much easier that way.

We kill all the crappy fiat currency and go back to currency with real value. Or in the meantime, just use Liberty Dollars.
We don't accept those at the store. The Federal Reserve Bank will not recognize them.

excuse me, but what's the point of having currency that people won't accept? that's just stupid. and that poor guy with a million pennies... that's so sad it's infuriating. money is money. banks should HAVE to take it if it's legal US tender.
grrr.. I really hate banks. You must first create an account to post.
