What non-Fruvous CDs do you have that have Fruvous on them? Off the top of my head I can think of two that I own.
City Folk Live Volume I - Songs recorded live at WFUV: Fruvous does Authors.
Bendy's Law - DVN: Fruvous does a cover of TMBG's Shoehorn with Teeth.
The Mega-CD thingie. Coupla XPN CDs. Bendy's Law. The Main Stage Live CD from FRFF. I dunno.
bendy. frff main stage live. if you lived here, you'd be home now.
Fruvous sings backup on "If I Had A Million Dollars" by Barenaked Ladies. Dave and Murray play various instruments on Russell Wolff's "Roadkill Amerikana". Jian co-wrote "Town No More", one of the songs on Sean Altman's "alt.mania" album. I believe he also performs with him on it.
D'oh, I have Main Stage Live of course. Now I'll have to go through my CDs and see if there any others I don't have.
Does anyone have them on the Mountain Stage CD? I'm pretty sure they are on one.
I think Maple Syrup Time is their most recent recording as Fruvous, anyone want to verify?
They sang backup on The Nields' "Jack The Giant Killer" and "I Still Believe In My Friends", both from _If You Lived Here You'd Be Home Now_. Atone of TN's shows at the IH, I passed a note up to the stage, and they let the Fruheads in the audience sing the la-la-la's in JTGK. It was way cool and a lot of fun. There were a lot ofus!

How could we forget the Energy Videos! oO Energy, it's the pulse of life! It's what makes the world go round and round... Oo
I recall them doing some airline commercials, what airline was it?
southwest.
very cute commercials, and very apropos for those of us who've been in long-distance fruhead relationships and spent lots of time on swa. :)

Aside from what's been mentioned.. Dave and Fordy do backup vocals on a song from David Francey's "Far End of Summer", Dave plays accordian on Kurt Swinghammer's "Black Eyed Sue", Jian played with Dar on a cover of "Highway Patrolman" for a Springsteen tribute album, and Jian is also on Bill Usher's new cd "Slow Dancing. And not only were Jian and Dave on Martina's cd but Murray plays bass on some tracks.
I'm sure more will come to me. :) when was that? :returns to theory of broken-up couple still having sex:
dude! i ride southwest all the time! i've never seen these! what dd they say? like "hi. . . .remember those hapless lovers in "Fly?" Well they did it with style! Go fly Southwest!"
wow. how fascinating. i can't find the cd though. anybody have a recap of what they said? :tries to imagine four guys talking about breastfeeding.:
I certainly has the best name and best dedication.
they were radio jingles. lots of us have copies; i'd be glad to make you one if you wanted.
Hmm... somewhere I have a CD by the Klezmatics where the boys sang backup on "Man in a Hat".... so hyper....
cool, i'll be happy to make them for you (you may have to kick my ass a bit to get me to send them...i am a lazy bum).
jonathan, i have your address unless you guys have moved in the last year...lauren, if you could frumsg me yours, that would be great.
