Poll: What's your favorite kind of chocolate?

mmmmmmmmm-amen, josh! :) dark all the way! GOOD, SWISS, dark, too. you know why swiss chocolate is so good? because there are legal quotas for how much cocoa powder has to be in it in order for it to be labeled "chocolate".

Someone out there needs to tip the scales and make dark chocolate at least as easy to come by as the milk variety.

Granted, I don't mind milk chocolate, and I love white chocolate (or the non-chocolate substance that is called "white chocolate").

Dark chocolate is heaven. Just letting it sit in your mouth and melt. Yum.

I can only take milk chocolate if it's got something IN it--like almonds or peanuts or whatever. Just straight it's too sweet and makes me gag. I can eat dark chocolate straight until the cows come home. :) OR with stuff in it.

Mmmmm non-pareils. Got some dark chocolate non-pareils from ghirardelli in my desk at work just mocking me and my diet. :)

Is there a name for the type of evil anti-chocolate they use for KinderEggs?

Not sure about these new orange flavoured chocolate bars like orange Kit-Kats and Aero bars but the english import Terry's Chocolate Orange (either milk or dark choc.) is very yummy.

And I've never met a liqueur filled chocolate I didn't like....ummmmm yeah. Ok, so that's not really about the chocolate.

I just like being to whack a chocolate orange...nice little way to take out some frustration before enjoying a sweet treat. :)

Speaking of Kit Kat Bars, when I was in the UK a couple of years back, there were Mint Kit Kat Bars that were just so yummy.  I brought back about 5 of them home.  Sadly they're not made anymore...but one can hope for a reappearance.

My favourite - is a company.  I can go milk or dark, but it reeeeally should be Purdy's.  so smooth.  nummers.  the only commercial product that might come close is Cadbury, but I'm loyal to my Purdy's. 

Where's the "I love chocolate in all its forms more or less equally" option?  It really depends on the mood.  Sometimes I prefer the silky smooth, creaminess of milk chocolate but at other times I crave the intense flavor of dark.  Have you ever had one of those 90% cocoa bars?...Yum...though the 98% and 99% cocoa bars are a bit too intensely bitter for me. 

Chocolate with stuff in or on it is always a treat (mmm..nuts, non-pareils, cordials, umm..my sweet tooth is kicking in).

I used to like white chocolate as a kid, but it has become too sweet for me.  And once I discovered it was all cocoa butter, I became sorely disappointed.

For me, I have to have milk with chocolate.  Milk, which tastes wonderful in itself, tastes incredible after chocolate.

However, I probably should have chosen "Other," because my favourite chocolate is...well, chocolate.  :)  I like Kinder Eggs, too.  :p 

Mmm...I could go for some chocolate right now, in fact.
