I was listening to CBC's DNTO show and they had a piece on this concert in Northampton MA where local performers pretended to be known Canadian musicians. Apparently the Nields performed as Moxy Fruvous. Anyone from the area see that concert? Here's a link http://www.gazettenet.com/hamp-arts/transXIIcanada.html
I don't know how I missed this the first time...but yes, TN did do MF...King of Spain and River Valley. It was awesome!! Andy World, where are your videotapes??????
Adam, how I have been trying to tell you that my video camera broke. I have a video I made for Tobey which he will never see. I will give that to you!
Someone told him about it and that I have the Video. Sadly this January I slipped on some ice and took out my video camera.

Has anyone recorded a cover of a Fruvous song?
OK has anyone sold a CD that has a Fruvous Cover on it.
I bet somebody recorded DVN covering fruvous at one of the shows that those annoying fruheads requested a song by them.
The Brown Derbies covered "Fell in Love" on their album Jericho.
*really likes the brown derbies' version*
*really likes the brown derbies* :) I know some Brown Derbies. Sean Altman (and the rest of Rockapella) were, I believe, Brown Derbies. Or maybe Jabberwocks. I'm totally blaspheming by confusing the two, I guess. Pizmon isa Columbia University / Jewish Theological Seminary a cappella group. You can find a song called "Mordechai" on their disc "At The End of the Day". While the words may be unfamiliar, I have no doubt that you will recognize the tune and arrangement immediately as our own Moxy Fruvous's "Spiderman" - complete with movie titles at the end (even more if you put the disc into your CD Rom drive). The also do a song "Esther HaMalkah" to "Minnie the Moocher" in the vocal stylings of one Mike Ford. I don't think it's on any of their albums though. One of my co-workers was listening to a Jewish A Cappella CD the other day, don't know which group it is. And yes, half the Fell In Loves on Napster/KaZaAare by the Brown Derbies. Ah the wonders of file sharing.

I am postingmp3's on my web page for a bit!
Um... unless the bit is already over, or unless my fatigue is screwing me up more than I think, those links aren't working. In fact, I ftp'd to your main site and couldn't find a sign of any mp3s at all. I would have assumed you'd have uploaded the mp3s before posting this, so based on that assumption, my second is that there's something amiss.
*wants to hear* Sorry I am still figuring out this FTP thing let me try again!
I'm getting a permission denied. DId you do a chmod 755 on the files/directory after you uploaded them? (It looks like a Unix server...)
