Auditory hallutionation no, wait that is Fruvous on the radio

Discussion: Auditory hallutionation no, wait that is Fruvous on the radio

Yesterday I had a moment of confution.  Was I awake or was I dreaming?  Up felt like down and I was floating, and the music playing on the radio faded away into Moxy Fruvous' King of Spain.  Then it felt like I hit the floor  my momentary euphoria ended, still dazed by this I realized that Moxy Fruvous was still on the radio and I wasn't hallucenating.

I was listening to Iceberg 95 on Sirius, a Canadian adult alternative station, but they play Sloan, Danny Michel, K-Os and Great Big Sea, and if I am lucky, I get Bran Van 3000, Andy Stochansky, or even Spirit of the West.  But Fruvous?  It's true.

This is not the first time I was in denial.  Nearly 10 years ago I heard Michigan Militia on the radio and I was in such denial that I could acually hear fruvous on the radio I convenced myself for a split second that it was They Might Be GIants.

Has anyone else been surprised or confused when you hear the odd Fruvous song on the radio?

You need some new Radio Stations.

Back when I discovered fruvous (Back in the dark ages of 1995) my roommate was a DJ and so were several of my freinds,  They always would dedicate fruvous songs to me.  Or Depeche Mode.

When I would be in Rochester I would listen to that stationI am forgetting now and they would play fruvous on occation.

I dated a DJ back in 1999 and she would dedicate Fruvous songs for me.

I listen to Iceburg 95 at work when I can.  It is Canadian Rock from Cananda.  The best kind.  Better then that American Made Canadian Rock.

On a CBC broadcast discussing superheroes in the 20th century, they were playing "Spiderman". I was in a euphoric--fruphoric?--state for the rest of the day.
