Have you ever taken part in organized sports? If so what sports and at what level?
I have always been a jock wannabe but never was on a team. The closest I've come to organized was the weekly softball games we played for years during and after college. They were an offshoot of a onetime game between the Math Lab and the English Writing Lab.
They didn't start playing Ultimate Frisbee at school till after I graduated. I might have been good enough for that team. At least I did well in pick-up games and as it was just getting started and only nerds were playing it there wasn't much competition.

I played varsity tennis all through HS (and none of that luzr doubles crap, it was singles all the way!) and then for a few weeks in college. I ultimately quit the team b/c of a back injury, the coach was a jerk, and the olda girls weren't so keen on having a frosh who could beat all of them. I had to deal with that in middle & high school and petty, catty girls are not my cup of tea.
As for track, now that was fun times. I threw discus and ran (crappily) the 100 meter hurdles. As for non-school sanctioned team sports, I played ultimate frisbee in HS for fun, and then on my college's club team. Dude, I'm such a jock!!
Wow, we didn't get letters. We did get pizza and ice cream. Actually that's better.

My parents made me play soccer when I was, like, 10 or 12 or something..... and I think I had to play basketball at some point too...
I've never had an interest in organized sports. I always loved, like, volleyball, badminton, stuff like that.... I used to spend all summer playing that kind of stuff. :)
I played badminton at FRFF this year. With WA6. That means I'm cool.
I saw that.
Does that mean that Brian gave you the bird?

I was on the swim team for all 4 years of high school, but I got too stressed to go out for the team my freshman year in college so I stopped.
Since then, my sports have been the climbing wall and, this past year, DDR. But now I'm turning over a new leaf - I'm coaching my school's girls' volleyball team this fall! (Eek!)

I've played soccer since i was about 6, but never for school. Also played lacrosse for a club team in 7th grade and for school in 8th.
Unorganized-wise, though... I can be decent at most things. I'm fairly athletic, i guess. Not too great at things involving a bat, though, I don't think I've ever even held anything other than a wiffle bat. :P

who needs oragnized team sports when you have bar sports!!!!
my high school had one of the largest pool halls in the st. louis area (not sure if it's still true or not) and we always had a period during the day in which to do whatever we wanted :) so as you can see, a majority of the students were usually found in the rec hall shooting pool. but me? pool? nah. my bar/rec sport was foosball. oh yeah, baby. i was um...how you say it...1337 foosball player :)
