Is that a city or a planet? I said "city!"

I should have said on earth
In the present
That isn't fictional
In this and not some alternate reality

What about Ankh Morpork?
Gordondon son of Ethelred Back · 18 years, 8 months ago
I said this reality! We do not live in Discworld.

You don't want to go to Z'ha'dum? ;-)

...to me, New York isn't in a foreign country. So I choose Toronto.

Hee hee...and I chose New York. We can visit both together. :)

i've sort of already been there. i drove through it and was there for roughly 3 hours :P but all i saw was the inside of 2 airports and the route between them as seen from a limobus. so i pretty much saw highway.

so i'd like to see it, also, my friend is there. and i miss her. lots :/

the four cities on the list I haven't visited are Hong Kong, Cairo, Jerusalem and Sydney. I picked Sydney because I really, really want to see Australia, but I'd be interested in seeing the others someday as well. I *heart* traveling.

I've been to alot of cities in my travels. My next venture I hope will be to Tokyo - actually a tour all over Japan would be nice. Actually I just wanna try Okinomiyaki ^_^

Edinburgh during the fringe fest. I went in 1995 and it was one big party, some of the best live concerts and performances of plays I have ever seen. Rosencrantz and Gildenstern are dead, Little Green Monkeys(a local band) and Ray Davies were there that year.

Or Cropredy in the UK during August:

I don't know why that didn't appear as a live link, I did it the same way last time I posted a link but this time it didn't work. Internet Explorer is evil.

Rosencrantz and Gildenstern is one of favorite plays; Stoppard is my favorite playwright. Remember, you can't not be, on a boat.

of all the cities on the list that are foreign to where i was born, jerusalem is the only one i've been to. even though i'd really like to go to the other cities, i still picked jerusalem. cause that's where my sister is having a baby RIGHT NOW.

At the time I posted London was top of the list. I work in London now so it is obviously not very foreign to me at all. Having said that I do recommned it, There are so many galleries and museums, so much music and comedy and you cna see the birthpaces of many greta british bands there. It gets humid in summer (as most built up areas do) and the traffic sucks but I loveall the cool markets and the Thames and also I am there so I can see why it's s popular (I actually was going to do a why vistit London rah rah rant but then realised that this is the city I am moving to and that I am moving for a reason!)

I am shocked that Paris got only two votes. I voted for London but Paris was so close it was decided by a coin flip.
Andrea Krause Back · 18 years, 8 months ago
Paris is the only one besides New York I HAVE been to, so of course had to choose something else. :)

I picked London. So I could swoon incessantly.

Call Terminex, they'll get rid of that pest. Abba is evil.
sheryls Back · 18 years, 8 months ago
i think that song's from the musical Chess, did Abba do a version?
Misch Back · 18 years, 8 months ago
The musical Chess was written by Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus aka "the guys from Abba" The musical isn't an Abba product.
sheryls Back · 18 years, 8 months ago
