Poll: Do you dye your hair?

i've dyed my hair dark red a couple times. considering doing so again! wow! that wasn't boring at all! :)

particularly not the part that's grey.

brown, auburn, auburn with blonde streaks, blonde (light, medium, honey, golden, etc)...

i am recently growing out the naturalness. i dont like it :(

when my hair starts going grey i will dye it purple and be an insane old lady.

a few months back i had my hair dyed red with dark brown underneth. I'll probly do that again...maybe in the summer...this time with black underneth.

I usually just get highlights every once in a while. Although with the increasing incursion of grey hair, I may have to resort to dying it fully in a few years.

I'm toying with just letting my gray come when it does. Some folks look purdy good with it. We'll see. My mom got hers in her 30s so it'll be comin'!

They've told me I'm supposed to go "black with purple highlights" next time, but that sounds like it will involve work, and so will have to involve someone who knows what they're doing getting involved. Pshaw.

Of course, it's getting nearer and nearer the end of my winter. So I'll have to let it go back to its normal color and leave it that way until the summer work season is over.

(Hey, it's hard enough getting most of the good ol' boy county engineers to take me seriously as the crew foreman being that I'm both much younger than they are, and *gasp* a girl. I'm not about to walk into their office with unnaturally colored hair too - this will remove just about any possibility most of them will give me any credit at all. However, I'm thinking it might not even be allowed to grow back out to collar-length. Because I am enjoying this spikeably short cut waaaaay too much to be rid of it already.)

I currently have some blondish highlights that just got even lighter from my recent trip...buuut, I'm growing them out b/c I really don't like having the highlights...atleast, mentally. Physically they look fine, but I'm more of a natural-style grrl...
