I'll wait to borrow it from one of you. No rush.
I'll wait for a real book not a pdf. I like to read in bed and on the train.
So where are all the offers to lend me the book when you are done?
caroline: tired.

This time, I have won. One book, three kids...yeah. There are rules, however. No dibs, and no reading in the night. It's in the kitchen in the morning. Whoever gets it first gets it. Even though I just woke up 15 minutes ago, and my brother has been up for hours, he has neglected to read it. :D score.
EDIT: I'm done now. I can't change my vote though, can I?

neal's picking it up right now. we skipped out on the festivites last night, since they were tragically lame in '03, and went to see charlie & the chocolate factory instead. very good choice, if i do say so myself. :)
We all die eventually. Sorry to be the one to break it to you.
In the World According to Garp, we're all terminal cases.
and then if you go back to the beginning, it starts ALL OVER AGAIN.
"this is a song charles manson stole from the beatles...we're stealin' it back!"
Just like Finnegan's Wake.
So am I the first person to compare Rawlings to Joyce?
hmm. i've never thought david rawlings and gillian welch were anything like joyce. then again, it's been a while since i've listened to my copy of time (the relevator).
Not quite just like Finnegan's Wake - this book can actually be read.
