It's the one thing that can be high, depending on what's stressing me.

I have abnormally low cholesterol..... and generally low blood pressure.... but during the time when RCN was closing... I actually registered on the high end of the blood pressure scale... (for obvious reasons).

A friend of mine has problems with high blood pressure... so I now am able to test it often just for the sake of being bored, since he has a home machine... and I'm usually average or so.....

because of my meds, I tend to have low BP if I don't eat enough salt. go me! or not.

Sure my small intestine had a hole in it and some its cells decided to have a population explosion but my BP and cholestorol are both low. MY BP is normally 110/60.

Johnny Depp is teh sexxxy. Just saw Once Upon a Time in Mexico last night and almost died when he said "savvy?" Liekomgwtf. So. Hot.
Phoenix · 20 years, 3 months ago
it has always been this way but it was even worse when I was younger - getting up too quickly in the morning usually resulting in blacking out and finding myself on the floor. oops.

No more drugs for this girl. *nodnod*

hrmm. Or just change the dealer?
Andrea Krause Back · 20 years, 3 months ago

Yeah I have that problem too sometimes, especially in the summer. My BP is usually low-to-normal and if I'm at ALL dehydrated I hit the floor at the drop of a hat. :)

My mom is on meds for low blood pressure and my dad was on meds for high blood pressure. I guess all in all I'm glad I tend to go towards mom's side of the spectrum because I love my salt too much. :)

:P
Who needs drugs when there's Johnny Depp to be watched??

Actually the night I saw that movie I should have been seeing Love Actually....so I needed the Johnny Depp to make up for missing Alan Rickman, Hugh Grant, and Colin Firth all in the same movie that must have been made just for me!!

That didn't make you think I was any less crazy, did it? O:)
iPauley Back · 20 years, 3 months ago

*grin* not particularly. but I'll get over it. :) *hug*

You saw the better of the 2 movies in all honesty... Colin looked GREAT in that movie but his storyline was hardly developed at all, I'm assuming they must have cut at least half of his scenes and it just didn't make sense... Hugh and Alan's characters are pretty good tho!

But Johnny in that movie... whooo.... he was even hot with blood coming out of his OJOS... hahahah...

A girl named Becca Back · 20 years, 3 months ago
Well, here's the thing. I've actually seen Love Actually...but it was dubbed in Spanish. So, I know it wasn't really all that great, but the Alan Rickman/Emma Thompson and Hugh Grant story lines were pretty good, I thought. Anyway, I figured they were enough to make it worth seeing in English because, really, what's the point of a movie with Alan Rickman (and other cute British accent-types) if you can't hear the original voices?????

And Johnny Depp was definitely hot, though he was pretty creepy with the blood trickling down under the sunglasses. *Shudder.

exactly. I love to hear original voicesand always try to catch showings of original undubbed versions. Unfortunately the people don't really believe in subtitles over here :(

I'm going to take this very literally in an attempt to be funny. What's my blood pressure like?
"Hey, I'm your blood pressure!"
Kris 'engaged' Bedient Back · 20 years, 3 months ago
Yes, just increase the dosage, mmmmdrugs
Kris 'engaged' Bedient · 20 years, 3 months ago
My blood pressure likes sunny days, lasagna with extra cheese, longs walks on moonlit nights and canadian music.

That's funny because my German roommates in Spain were always bitching about how in Germany we like to see movies in their original versions with subtitles, but here in stupid Spain they dub everything, the Spanish are so dumb, I still can't believe they call it McAuto when it's supposed to be McDrive (uh...you mean DriveThru?), and why do they only play Spanish music on the radio when I want to hear Robbie Williams? Stupid Spain. Don't they know the world is supposed to speak English?

This part of the thread keeps getting Billy Joel stuck in my head.

Just saw Once Upon a Time in Mexico last night and almost died when he said "savvy?"

Haha!

Yeah, that was funny! When I was watching the movie I totally did a double-take when he said that.
:D

A little something for the fans.

My blood pressure is, like, systolic over diastolic. I'm so, like scientific and stuff.
Phoenix Back · 20 years, 3 months ago

You've just earwormed me back to my teenage self:

.oO It's a strange aberration, this brainstorm of youth. Though it's lost in translation from fancy to truth. It's hopelessly human, both inside and out Oo.

When your doctor told you of your high blood pressure his initial words were "well, the good news is you're not quite in the "stroke" range yet!!!

What a bed-side manner, eh?
iPauley Back · 20 years, 3 months ago

yes, shame on you. I picked that up immediately :-P
