I acually had to look up there names because I forgot.

Since I'm more of a Monkee fan than a Beatle fan, I'll pipe into this thread.

Jian as Davy works for me, since the main function of both is making sure the girls scream. Jian's voice is almost painfully cute and the dancing... *shudder*
I'll also agree with Dave as Peter, simply because they're my respective favorites in the group.
I'd flip the others and list Murray as Mickey and Mike as Mike (but not for the obvious reason). It seems that Murray's songs (and Mickey's) were the quirky fun songs, while Mike's (and Mike's) are the thought provoking ones. This goes by the singers, since I've never been able to figure out who the songwriters are. My list reads:

Jian=Davy Jones
Mike=Mike Nesmith
Dave=Peter Tork (Tork is GOD)
Murray=Mickey Dolenz
