Poll: Will you marry me? |
Discussion:
will you marry me?
Marrying FHDC as a whole, perhaps? That woud be quite the marriage. :) Silly me, I interpreted the question as if I ever wanted to get married, so I did answer yes, as I do, if I find the right person. Who knows if that will happen, but I can always dream.

Spaulding: Well whadaya say girls? Are we all gonna get married?
Mrs. Rittenhouse: All of us? Spaulding: All of us! Mrs. Rittenhouse: But that's bigamy! Spaulding: Yes, and that's big-a-me, too...It's big of all of us. Let's be big for a change. I'm sick of these conventional marriages! One woman and one man was good enough for your grandmother, but who wants to marry your grandmother? Nobody, not even your grandfather. Think, think of the honeymoon, strictly private. I wouldn't let another woman in on this. Well, maybe one or two but no men. I may not go myself. *heart*

Once again it becomes clear that you must speak of yourself in the third person in polls or nobody knows who you are talking about :-)
My question is are you going to go through all the yes answers and pick one to marry?
maybe i should but it may be impractical.. distance and gender both seem to be issues here

sure! you're one of those dashing furriners, right, with the exotic accent?
oh wait.... i'm already dating one of those... I read that as"furriers" - and I was wondering what mink farming had to do with accents... .oO fur is already dead and besides, a name like that doesn't make a good acronym Oo.
well, for you new yorkers, it would be fah-riners.
Yay Dar! :) .oO No, our dreams went up in dreams...You stupid pothead Oo.
Heeee...I always heard that as "butthead"...which just cracks me up coming from Dar's mouth for some reason.
Heeee!! I initially heard it as "butthead" too...and it was just too funny. Then I actually read the lyrics one day and paid attention. Oh well. sometimes butthead still slips into myconciousness when hearing that song. We are kindred spirits. :)
of course it is!
ah vancouver, with its colourful customs & tropical climate.... i can just see myself, lounging on a beach chair, while a golden-skinned boy whispers me sweet nothings with extra u's in... ....soon....

I guess when it gets to 17 people saying yes, I presume that it is beyond trigamy, isn't it?

sorry sweetie, i'm already taken. i'm marrying jian. well, and the entire male cast of LotR. there's just not enough room for one more, i'm afraid. ;)
When I saw him at the FoTR premier he said he had to leave to see his boyfriend. I thought that a wizard centuries old would be a bit old for a boyfriendJ
mate. if i was at the FotR premiere, i wouldn't leave for ANYONE. not even if i -was- married to jian. :D
yeah, but i can still get people to *write* him straight. ;) ian mckellen het, anyone? :D
was that mcee's one? that's the one i was thinking of when i posted ;) i have it bookmarked. it's soooooooo purty. :)
shame that as I told someone the other day that if you wre a boy I would marry you as you are sweet andknow me so well and really make me laugh...
but what about justine? would you marry justine if she were a boy? :D

All my specific proposals have been rejected. Perhaps I should just make a proposal to all elegible women. Any takers?
well you are 10 years younger than me, and I'm already married...so... ok, what the hell! ~J~
isn't that the other way around? I'm ten years older than you?

lots of you said yes without knowing anything about who it was. Maybe I should propose like this in future as then I will increase my chances of a positive response!

...but that's not a bad thing. Why is it that in some cultures men can marry more than one woman, but women can't marry more than one man? That's outright sexism, that is. *grin* I'm married to a man, but I wouldn't mind having a wife, as well. Any takers?
