wahoo! i met 3 new fruheads this weekend out on the left coast, and saw 2 others that i hadn't seen in months--YAY FOR MINIVACATIONS!!! :-D also yay for living within reasonable driving distance of noho. i love you all and i'm glad i get to see so many of you so (relatively) often. intelligent company is hard to come by where i live.
(I can't believe I got second post)
.oO and a rock feels no pain. and an island never cries Oo.
.oO I'd rather be a hammer than a sneeze, in the breeze Oo.
I used to see many more when I saw more shows and when I got to go to the left coast. I'm so boring these days.
Due to the FRFF/frucon restriction... I somehow made that in my head, "excluding concerts"... so I voted 3-4.
But with concerts in there... many more.
yEah I think the subject box summarises this well but Emilie is quite a nutso fru head and very into them and is always making her friends listen to Fruvous and next year we may be going to FRFF if we get our stuff sorted out this summer.
go me! :)
i guess siobhan can also be classed as a fruhead in the sense that, well, she's on here for a start and posts regularly ;) (yes, i know, fruheads have to have seen a certain amount of shows to be a *true* fruhead, yada yada yada. don't blame us, the last time they toured here was '96. we're british fruheads, which is an entirely different breed of fruhead. so there. but i digress.) apart from siobhan, and my other british converts, the only other fruhead i've seen this year is dave pirmann (hiya dave!). :) oh, and actually, does fruvous' ex-promoter count as a fruhead? (yes. he does.)
oh, and my dad was chatting with (*not* snogging, this time) their ex-roadie down the pub at the weekend. hee. so my daddy has seen one too! :)
There are no rules about how many shows you have to have been to be a fruvous. It's just a matter of being enough of a fan to want to identify yourself as such.
woohoo! i'm definitely a fruhead then *dance* :)
Most of my friends from high school like fruvous, have been to at least as many shows as I have, etc...but aren't really part of the fruhead community. Do they count?
Yeah, I'd say so.
I mean, it did say fruheads.... not FHDC users.
:)
Well then...uh....a bunch. :)
Only a few who live, or used to live, around the Rochester area. Not even so much in concerts, mostly other gatherings. In fact, I can only really recall one show, a Dave show at RIT, and the rest at Games@Six on campus.

I never get to see any frupeople. I'm under the impression that you guys don't really exsist. *nods*
The graph of this poll results show and interesting shape. The modes are the extremes. I guess it is because people either live near lots of other fruheads or are isolated.
North Carolina is not a hot-bed of Fru-ness unfortunately
I've only seen fruheads OUTSIDE of FruCon and FRFF...mainly at various concerts (mainly EFO and DVN concerts, now that I think about it)...though I suspect that will change this July on the hill when I finally make the trek up to the Budgiedome.
Hey...what's up with the last <blank> option in the poll?
I hope Josh knows. I didn't do it. Perhaps it is just a glitch

Hey what's with the mystery box under Zero?
jen
and what did the 2 people (at the time of this post) just vote for?

We'll have Josh fill it in with "I'm an insensitive clod, you insensitive clod!"
I decided to choose the mystery box because I usually see the core group of Fruheads what live in this corner of the Wet Coast. So, while I *could* count them all, I would feel so bad if I left someone out. Let's just say that I see "A Bunch" on a somewhat regular basis.
:)
it's hard to see fruheads when you live in Edmonton. I 've seen Cara, and prctivcally live with Eri. that's it....
omg ZIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you have zim!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love zim! i named my puppy zim!!!!!!! http://www.sheryls.net/puppies/zim.asp <--see?! :)
although, in retrospect, i should have named her Gir :)
Perhaps it's because I am crazy or have no life, but I aften see my people, the frupeople everywhere I go. I can barly think of a place I have been that didn't included a fru person. Thursday I saw Paul Mischler and Chris O'Maley at a EFO show. I saw Rob, Karen and Anita, plus that guy whom I am blanking on his name, at ICON. And lets not forget DVN and Russell Wolff shows!
You also see Frupeople at Northampton-area venues...like the Transperformance...*cough* How's that videotape?
My new VCR is broken. I am not happy about that. I need to get it fixed. I am on my 3rd VCR in a year.
And we'll be getting together for probably the band that is tied with EFO as the band you would most likely find Fruheads at, besides Fruvous shows and Falcon Ridge, TMBG!
You forgot to mention DVN
as much as I'd love to say that I've seen any fruheads in the last year, I was one of the only ones in Colorado that lived there on a regular basis, and I just moved to a state (Kansas) where people have no idea who the fru's even are! I just moved under a bigger rock!!!
