Crushes

Most people have had a crush on some celebrity or other. DVN has a collective one on Heather Graham, now they have a song and a restraining order.



As Fruheads we tend to have crushes on musicians. So what musician to you have a thing for?



I have a few, I'll mention one that doesn't actually know me, Natalie MacMaster. Before the first time I saw her I though she was some older woman who had been fiddling since before I was born. I was pleasantly suprised to find her young and very attractive.

per-lease. don't even talk to me about crushes on musicians. particularly drummers. :D and violinists. (joshua bell and maxim vengarov, to name a few.) and under-age cellists. gah. :D

oooh, joshua bell *is* a cutie. most of the folk musicians i have crushes on know me *cough*davidmorrealepatklinkericschwartz*, but i haven't actually met young mark erelli or old john gorka yet, so i'll say their names loud and clear. :)

ooh. and i forgot stephen kellogg. yummy.
and skippy when he sings the bass line in "is she really going out with him?" hee.

You know that Slaid and Rod are going to cry because you didn't mention them.

but I'd only go for oliver. yo.

If you are brave enough to mention artists who know you I might as well mention (under my breath) the one who got me thinking about this, maurakennedy.

I have two musician crushes: Andy Stochansky and John Wesley Harding. They battle it out on a regular basis, unbeknownst to them. :) It is definitely a talent/personality/looks combo with both of them plus Wes has a seriously sexy thing going on while Andy has a fabulous geek thing happening (which is a big deal for me). So yeah, there are two.

Yeah! Andy S. is cute in this sort of alterna-Judd Nelson sort of way... did you see Jian's revamped website?? Picture of him and Andy in there, SO cute! It's on my desktop right now! I have many loves in music but my biggest crushes are actors right now, probably cause they're less accessible... but hey, Gary Sinise can play bass... and Jeff Goldblum can play piano... mmmm....

My main crush is my Girl freind, Ellen Rowland. But there will always be the Paperboy's Own Amazon, Shannon Saunders! She is coming out with her second Solo album with her Band "The Splinters"! Ellen just is the most wonderful woman on the face of the planet!

How come Murray's people have not been heard from?

oh yeah, murray...remember, i haven't seen murray in person in years now, while i used to see people like david and pat, like, every time i left the house. absence makes the heart grow forgetful.

You should have a party and invite Murray, David, Pat, Eric, Slaid, Rod, and Oliver. Or would that be more of an orgy than a party?

Oh, Murray is *definite* crush material. :) So's Tory Cassis for that matter. I tend to lean towards guitarists in the way of crushes - just in case no one has caught on to that. *g*
