First Celebrity Crush

Who was the first celebrity you had a crush on and how old were you?

Mine was Shirley Temple, not as a kid but as an adult. She hosted a kids TV show when I was about 4. I told my mother, "You are the second most beautiful girl after Shirley Temple."

My next crush was Julie Newmar. I was seven and she was the star of My Living Doll. She played Rhoda the robot.

I had good taste as a kid. I still think they were hot.

Hedy Lamarr - looks, brains, a natural match for a math teacher. Although it does appear Julie Newmarr holds 3 patents. Not too shabby. And she was pretty hot as cat woman. I approve.

Seconded. I'm not sure I'd say she was my first "crush" per se, but she was hot, brainiac, and talented.  What more could you ask for?

That makes me feel old. I first saw her as a little kid on one of my favorite shows The Equalizer This was back in 85 or 86 or so.

There were totally live action TMNT movies. Three of them, in fact.

...Or two of them, for those that deny the third one ever existed.

Of course I knew about them. They even said stressed in the ad that they weren't cartoons. So do you still like green guys with shells? Kowabunga!

definitely Julie Newmar. my mom took me to see L'il Abner on Briadway - and Newmar played Stupefyin' Jones. We were in the front row, and when Julie came on in a skimpy outfit, mom had to grab my collar to keep me from jumping on stage.
