Fill in the blank:
Love is________________
Finish it in a word, a phrase, a paragraph, or a treatise. Make your answer as long as you think proper.
o/~ Love is higher than a mountain
Love is thicker than water You are this dreamers only dream Heaven's angel , devil's daughter o/~
You're too young to be quoting Pat Benatar :-)

love is always patient and kind. It is never jealous. It is never boastful or conceited. Love does not take offense, and is not resentful. Love takes no joy in other people's sins, but delights in the truth. It is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes.
Raise your hand if that was the only thing you enjoyed out of "A Walk To Remember" *raises hand*
and "love is" is a comic i wrote a song about in 20 minutes. hurrah for songwriting classes.

There are only four questions of value in life, Don Octavio.
What is sacred? Of what is the spirit made? What is worth living for, and what is worth dying for? The answer to each is the same: only love. - Don Juan DeMarco Oh sorry. I thought we were still doing movie quotes

From Dirty Dancing: "If you love me, you have to love every single thing about me! *cries*"
From Cat's Cradle: "God is love." Matisyahu: "What's this feeling, my love will rip a hole in the ceiling. Givin' myself to you now with the essence of my being and I sing to my god, songs of love and healing. I want Meshiach now. Sounds like noone really knows what it is.
From Harlan Ellison: "Love ain't nothing but sex misspelled." One of my favorite story titles. Not one of my favorite stories.
This reminds me of a song by Henri Tachan (with a great pun that only works in French) titled Entre l'amour et l'amiti il n'y a qu'un lit de difference
Also from Harlan Ellison:
Of course I know what love is. A boy loves his dog.
I saw him a few years ago at the What I Like About Jew show. I liked the Reggae but not the Rap. I grew tired of him pretty quickly.

...For Suckers... (not really... but Twisted Sister, eh?)
My knowledge of Bob Dylan is well below average. It's a shortcoming that I'm trying to correct. :-) Bob Dylan did say it, but I'm citing a different song by Mr. Squier.

Love is sitting in a bath tub with your guts literally hanging out and talking to a friend who makes you forget all about it.
