Since Dec 7 2004 I have permanent resident status in the U.S.
So I'll be moving to the U.S. in the first half of 2005 and I'm facing lots of tasks that need to be done: resigning from my job, breaking up my household, etc.

Update: I booked a flight to Boston on July 18. *bounce*
The war we fight is not against powers or principalities it is against chaos and despair. Greater than the death of flesh is the death of hope, the death of dreams. Against this peril we can never surrender. The future is all around us waiting in moments of transition to be born in moments of revelation. No one knows the shape of that future or where it will take us. We know only that it is always born in pain.
G'Kar, "Z'ha'dum"
Oh and I have 1000 Andreapoints. Whee.
---lyrics of the moment---
And the change could happen any day
Or so say all the guards
In the prison I have built around
My solitary heart
I tell myself that I'm alright
That's not so bad a place
Truth is that I'm just scared to death
Of walking through that gate
(Richard Shindell - So Says The Whipporwhill)
They think they can tame you, name you and frame you
Aim you where you don't belong
They know where you've been but not where you're going
And that is the source of the songs
(John Gorka - Flying Red Horse)
I'm so sick of forgetting myself to remember who I am.
(Dar Williams - Oh Canada Girls)
