How do you sleep?

my poll passed whatever tests josh has been putting the polls thru!
for the record, i sleep in a fetal position, but with the broken ankle, i have to sleep on my back, and it's making it impossible for me to get to sleep at night.
It passed the turing test. Only the smartest polls make it through.
I can't sleep at all on my back, either.
I also can't sleep outside. Must feel sheltered/surrounded by walls and ceiling, no matter how flimsy. I used to sleep on my stomach, but my back can't handle that anymore, so it's usually on my side or at a 45-degree-ish angle between side and stomach, in a wonderful "en garde!" sort of pose. :D
That's pretty much how I sleep too. If I'm really tired, I can doze off on my back, but it takes me a good bit longer.
Then again, I'm also quite skilled at falling asleep while sitting up infront of the tv. That's one of the reasons I don't watch movies late at night all that often.

I tend to sleep on my side/stomach, and just about always face a wall, regardless of which side of the bed it happens to be on. Of course, I sleep maybe 3 or 4 hours per night, for 4-6 days a week. Once or twice a week, I'll sleep for 12-14 hours. Hey, as long as it adds up, jerk. 5 weeks 'til FRFF! Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo (I typed each one of those 'o''s, as this keyboard is from circa 1870, and refuses to auto-fire keypresses, unlike The [rockin'] NES Advantage controller.) Damn, I'm good at rolling off-topic.

When I'm getting to sleep I tend to roll over and over. Start out on my back, then to one side, then the other, then onto my stomach, then back onto my back. I dunno why, just always been that way. It usually takes me 20-30 minutes to fall asleep unless I'm dead tired.
I seem to usually wake up on one side or the other though. Ditto on most of this. I'll go to sleep on a side, usually. But I know from the times I wake up all night and from sleepmates informing me, that I toss and turn a LOT. So I usually finally fall asleep on a side and wake up on a side but there's a ton in between. :) Partly, though, I just can't stay on one side indefinitely because my hips begin to hurt. My joints are always problematic. I'm old and arthritic, I think.

i'm a back sleeper nowadays, and less of a thrasher. though i used to move around like crazy.
i only sleep on my stomach once in a while, and for short naplike periods, like after hitting snooze. but i'm trying to stop that as it led to a stiuation after which i could say "i sprained my neck" (yes this is true.) I seem to favor sleeping mostly on my back but slightly turnedwith my legs spread across the bed. I also have to have the pillow held between my arms and my head resting on my hands. I'm not sure if I described that right. It may be physically impossible.

Was this polll used because I couldn't get any sleep last night? I gave up at 3:30 since I had to wake up at 4:45 anyway.

While I do thrash about I very often start off sleeping like a body in a coffin, on my back with my legs straight out and my arms folded on my chest.

but less than it used to.
Usually I fall asleep rolled over onto my right-hand side basically on my stomach, cuddled up with a pillow. Sometimes, though, when I can't sleep, I roll onto my back and sleep that way with my head to the side. I think perhaps you'll be able to tell a lot about who has sleep disorders and who doesn't by this poll. :)

I sleep on my left side. I fall asleep quickly because I'm always tired when I go to bed. I don't thrash, awake or asleep. I don't know what position I'm in when I wake up because I'm moving to turn off the 4 alarms I have and I'm asleep when I start moving.

I think we should all get together and
We can't take pictures, we'll all be asleep.
i think the above discussion indicates that at least a few of us are likely not to be.
quite possibly.
but does that mean you WON'T be? i mean geez, you've wanted to be at an orgy for YEARS and YEARS, and now there's one in your own backyard! there's just no pleasing some people. :P
I thought you'd be hurt if I turned down your slumber party to take part in an orgy, especially a solo orgy.
