the sky's the limit, if that includes plane fare, gas, etc. cause no way is it gonna be in vancouver.
Yes ma'am! Flights and all!
...And dude, who said there can be Fr-content in polls?
hrm.. if they were getting back together for one final show and charged an insane amount for it...
there's the possibility that it'd look an awful lot like just a last-ditch money grab from the hard core fans. unless it were at a super huge/nice venue or something.
It says "first" show, I assumed there would be others.

Only if they were at their pre-hiatus performance ability or better. Nothing worse than seeing a beloved old band get it together for one last hurrah and see that they've lost whatever magic they had.
I mean, has Jian even been performing? I know Murray and Mike and Dave have had regular or semi-regular gigs.
Why that never stopped you before?

so, that's 500 plane fare, plus a couple hundred for the hotel bill, plus food and the ticket of course... gordondon had better win the lottery pretty quick if this is going to go ahead.
no, but seriously... if they decided to play, i would be there. i don't know how, but i would just have to make it happen. :D
I'm doing my best. I haven't checked my ticket yet, I might have already won.

yeah. you only live once. if this was their final gig, I would do it, otherwise I'd always regret not taking the plunge.

I'm not completely sure I would see them at all.
People would go in expecting what they knew five years ago or more, and that's not going to happen. I think we should accept the fact that things change, bands come and go, and let this one lie. I loved Fruvous. I still do. The music and the people have meant a lot to me over the years, and I'm currently living with someone I met through this whole scene, but why keep making love to the corpse of a dead band when there's other music out there?

If they came back, it wouldn't be gone, now would it? A band that's playing isn't dead.

I just heard that and I don't know where. You must first create an account to post.
