Poll: Do you believe in astrology?

That said, astrology is baloney.

Wow, only one comment, this might be some sort of a record.

For the record I put astrology just below the tooth fairy in credibility.

Then I guess whichever sign you were born under is the skeptical kind. ;)

The sign I was born under was "delivery room."

I don't believe in it. Not that I don't believe it's possible, it's just that I don't think it works. Same with aliens. There might be other intelligent life out there, but I don't think the UFOs we've claimed to have seen were actual aliens. I don't doubt ther theory, I doubt the proof.

I rarely believe my horoscope, nor do I depend on it, for advice.

However, I have this to say. We are on a giant globe of mass spinning in space, weighed with gravity. In our vicinity our planets and moons and suns with their own gravity fields, electro-magnetic waves, and energy fields. The gravity field of the moon is so strong, in fact, that it pulls our ocean's tides. We are constantly surrounded by powerful and often inexplicable phenomena of the solar system. And to say that these forces can have no effect on us whatsoever is to perpetuate the assumption that humans are independent of their environments and are unaffected by the natural world.

i have to say i follow this line of thinking somewhat.

i don't pay attention to horoscopes. i do not believe that astrology can predict the future or tell me exactly what kind of person i am and what kind of decisions i should make or why i make the decisions i do.

however, what is written above speaks to me. i do believe it is possible that we are influenced at least somewhat by what is physically going on around us.

I'm a Taurus. But I'm pretty sure it's all bull.

I'm an Aquarius, but I don't really think the explanations hold water.

I'm a Leo, but I think the horoscopes are�lyin'.

I'm a Capricorn, but it's pretty tough to goat me into believing this astrology sh....tuff.
