Discussion:
running away
Well, my first (and overly biased) answer would be Ohio.
If you could find some way to goto school abroad, that'd be another good idea. From what I understand, if you go through the whole application process for schools and get in, they'll usualy offer help for foreign students (of course I know almost nothing about this). I tend to recomend bigger cities for running away places, but that's because I find small towns suffocating. Boston might be a good starting place. It's not too far away from you, but big enough to get (metaphoricaly) lost in.
New York City of course. There is no better place to lose yourself than in a crowd. You never have to deal with anyone you know but there are always plenty of people around if you want them.
