Predates the Matrix and is more mindblowing

After compleating the Crow, Director Alex Proyas took some time off and delt with the death of Brandon Lee. He wrote and directeda movie that came out well over a year before the matrix and it has more twists and turns. Unlike the matrix, this is more of a thinking man's movie andreally has some great twists and turns.

John Murdock wakes up in a hotel room with no memory of how he got there and why he is with a dead prostatute. The police are after him for her murder and then 3 guys in black trenchcoats and fadoras that looks like they came off the set of "Nosforatu" show up and he discovers his world is a far stranger place.

Starring Rufus Sewell, who shows he is a great actor who just needs a great roll, and Keifer Southerland, who shows that he is a greater and more quarky actor than he father is make this movie a classic to anyone who has seen it. Too bad noone has seen it.
