Reviews:

Eris'tottle:

It was mentioned that Moulin Rouge is the greatest musical of all time. While on the surface that would appear to be true, in point of fact, Trey Parker and Matt Stone's first movie (made whilst still in college) is the true recipient of this honor.

The retelling of Alfred Packer, 1850s cannibal in Colorado Territory, this movie spoofs musicals and is just damn funny.

Watch it. Live it. Love it.

A word of warning, Troma paid for it's post-production, so there are the obligatory Troma ads in the beginning (if you don't know what Troma is... just fastforward anyway).

Tori Rose:

Moulin Rogue, as mentioned in the previous review, is not and never EVER will be anywheres near the greatest musical of all time.

Cannibal the Musical wont either, but it is one of the funniest damn things you'll ever see. It spoofs on movie musicals by using 4th wall gags and toilet humor (a la Trey Parker and Matt Stone) and it can win your heart if you let it. Dont let the bloody opening scare you off. Watch it all. Drink it up. Learn the lyrics. Its friggen awesome.
