First of all the true Title of the Folm is The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai across the 8th dimention.

Secondly you also get to see Christopher Llyod steal some seanes as John Lithgow's hinchman and finally You never do lean what that Watermelon is doing there. Other then that Jonothan gots it right!

Silly, campy, and just plain fun. In this oddball sci-fi pic, Peter Weller plays Dr. Buckaroo Banzai, physicist, rocket car driver, rock-and-roll star, comic book hero, and crime fighter. He's got to stop John Lithgow and an alien invasion that will destry earth. And you also get Jeff Goldblum in a cowboy suit.

classic movie. classic wisdom. great for laughs.

Am I the only geek who doesn't really like/get this movie? Sure, it has a few great lines ("Why is there a watermelon here?" "I'll tell you later.") ("Laugh while you can, monkey-boy!"), but overall I thought it was a bit dull.

Also, Peter Weller makes the world's worst Japanese guy.

And he can NOT sing.
