Review of "Eddie and the Cruisers 2" |
Information:What's the movie's name? Eddie and the Cruisers 2 What genre is this film?Cult Movie Give a short summary of this movie:Um...never saw it. Reviews:I am not implying anything, thank you very much. *cough*
Well, Dave's in it...
Yeah. That's about it. I thought the movie wasn't too bad at all. Nothing special, but wasn't too bad. I enjoyed the scenes with Dave playing that keyboard, as opposed to the scenes with DEFINATELY-NOT-DAVE-playing-that-keyboard. Worth the price of admission for a die-hard frhead. This movie was so awful that I couldn't even make it to Dave's scenes. Like everyone said, this was a terrible movie. However, I can't say enough how funny it was to see Dave in it. You owe it to yourself to rent or TiVo this monstrosity and fast forward to the Dave scenes. hee... awful film. But Dave was, erm, hairy? I found it on television and fast-forwarded to the "band" scenes. Mmmhhmm. Horrible movie...only thing good about it is Dave's scenes.
Oh and his hair! ;) Gets a 6 at least for the floofy hair... as for the script... "I KNOW! I'm SORRY!" ;) I thought non-Dave was going to lose that wig at the end. Nothing beats the band-frolicking-in-the-snow scene, though. Terrible movie! But fluffy Dave makes it a 2 instead of a 0. It's difficult to remember, I know, but His Daveness did once sport a mop of blond hair. He flips it around a bit in the music video scene, as I recall.
The movie is every bit as dreadful as you've been told. The plot, such as it is, concerns the post-death activities of one Eddie, who gave up fame and fortune for the chance to become a construction worker in Montreal. Now, a couple decades after he faked his death, Eddie finds himself drawn to the limelight... You can probably fill in the rest of the plot yourself. Dave plays the keyboardist in Eddie's new band.
