Sort of a sci-fi apocalypse thang....

This one is definitely in my top 10 list.... in fact, probably the top 5. Very dark... amazingly shot and performed. This is just an excellent flick.

Based on the French Film "La Jaffe" 12 Monkeys is a brilliant peice of art by Monty python's Terry Gilliam.

Showing how wonderful it is, every time I watch it I am Surprised at the twists, even though I am expecting it.

Actually, the film is "La Jetee" (the Jetty), a 28 minute, Black and white slide-show format film that provides the basic storyline and much of the look of Gilliams inspired "remake." Bruce Willis proves that he really is a talented actor, and look for one of Brad Pitt's best peformances to date.

one of Gilliam's best, and easily one of the best movies I've ever seen.
