I'm sure I'd prefer Buffy to Trading Spaces, but given that I don't watch Buffy, that was my only option. meh.

oh, and by the way. first post. :)
Paul D. Beasi · 21 years, 9 months ago
Season two had my favorite overall season arc. This is not to say that I haven't enjoyed each subsequent season, but for me nothing we've seen moved me as much as Season two.

...after tonight's episode...
goovie is married! Back · 21 years, 9 months ago
hee! my thoughts exactly. if i wanted to watch "bewitched, bothered, and bewildered" again, i would've watched "bewitched, bothered, and bewildered" again. at least that one had giles and oz. :)
John J. Ryan Back · 21 years, 9 months ago
Nah, don't tape over it! It was very funny even if it was another love whammy episode. Some great quotes at the end when it really does become a farce.
goovie is married! Back · 21 years, 9 months ago
tape over it and watch bewitched, bothered, and bewildered instead. really. last night's ep rivals bad eggs as my personal worst episode ever.
John J. Ryan Back · 21 years, 9 months ago
Bad Eggs was horrible if only because of the loan shark that looked like a reject from an old Sid & Marty Kroft series.

This episode had me laughing out loud, and was actually well timed considering I just watched Angel episode before, where Fred actually shows her dark side, getting vengence on the guy who actually sent her to a hell dimension (Pylia) for 5 years.

Fred: "You know what they say about payback? Well, I'm the bitch."

The characters were all well-developed and at their peak of likability, including the now dearly-departed Giles and Oz. The Mayor was the best Big Bad the show's ever had -- so evil and creepy, and yet so gosh-darn *nice*. Besides the great, compelling story arc, there were also wonderful one-off episodes, like "Band Candy," "The Wish," "Homecoming"...And on top of all of this, we had MmmmmmFaith. I can't say enough good stuff about Season 3.

Buffy gack!

I actually like trading spaces but not the american one....the american one is freaking lame...its all white trash and white paint
Agent Scully Back · 21 years, 9 months ago
Changing Rooms rawks!

They are going to do a marathon of it instead of Trading Spaces on American Thanksgiving so that those who aren't familiar with Changing rooms will understand where Trading Spaces came from.

However I"ll be watching the X-Files marathon on Sci-Fi. :)
emilie is CRANKY · 21 years, 9 months ago
...someone submit an x-files series poll ;) just because i can't be arsed to do it myself :D

Restless is why season 4 was bad!

I think Hush must have been left over from season 3.

I voted for 2 but it's almost tossing a coin. The first three seasons were subtly different and all great.
goovie is married! Back · 21 years, 9 months ago
restless is why season 4 was bad? not adam? not the initiative? not the POTATO? dude, you've lost all my respect. wait. i never respected you in the first place. :)
John J. Ryan Back · 21 years, 9 months ago
Wait, the POTATO?
Gordondon son of Ethelred Back · 21 years, 9 months ago
Yes the Potato, how did you miss it? Half the season was devoted to Buffy's love affair with the Potato. I wish they'd have a follow up episode showing how after he left Sunnydale he married Lori and now uses his potato skills to build the Budgiedome.
goovie is married! Back · 21 years, 9 months ago
baaaahahaha. maybe they could feature a scene at the bronze where cheryl wheeler performs that song she wrote about him. :)
John J. Ryan Back · 21 years, 9 months ago
I guess I didn't find that episode APPEALING.

BLASPHEMY!!!
Melinda J. Beasi Back · 21 years, 9 months ago
Despite my vote for season 2, Restless is my favorite BTVS episode of all time.

Also, I can't jump on any of the "season ___ sucked" bandwagons, because I have loved all of them. Yes, including season 6. It's about the larger picture. We may not like every place they go, but we need all of it to get to the next place.

Certainly plenty of people disagree with me, including plenty of people here... but fortunately I get to keep on liking the show whether other people do or not. And I think I'm having more fun. ;)

And this is why I love Melinda more than Gordon.
nitsita · 21 years, 9 months ago
... just cause it's the only one I saw from start to finish... i can't really get them in english... on tv anyway. French versions suck. Yay for dvds!
Brian Dinsky · 21 years, 9 months ago
If by BUFFY you mean TWIN PEAKS, then I'd have to go with season 1. Otherwise, the only thing I know about Buffy is that Anthony Head used to play Frank N. Furter in some cast or another. Been too long for me to remember which one. Maybe London. Anyone know?
John J. Ryan Back · 21 years, 9 months ago
I believe it was the London cast.
Gordondon son of Ethelred Back · 21 years, 9 months ago
It was London in the early 90s. You can get mp3s of him singing Sweet Transvestite.
goovie is married! Back · 21 years, 9 months ago
you can also get really scary pictures of him in the costume. eek.
Brian Dinsky Back · 21 years, 9 months ago
should i be ashamed or proud that i already have some? :)
goovie is married! Back · 21 years, 9 months ago
it depends. should i be ashamed or proud that i have some and am incorporating them into the "enormous penis" icon songset?
sheryls Back · 21 years, 9 months ago
mmm. angelo baldiamente.

he did the twin peaks soundtrack :) and a side project with the lead singer of James (Tim Booth) that rocks my world and a half - but i cant find it at the moment. feh.
Brian Dinsky Back · 21 years, 9 months ago
angelo badalamenti is THE MAN. coincidentally, i rented City of Lost Children which was f*in' amazing, and found out he did the soundtrack work for that. He and Lynch are like Cherries and Pie, or even Coffee and Black. :)

who could resist eating a school mascot? and the principal......
Gordondon son of Ethelred Back · 21 years, 9 months ago
It's very overrated. The principal was good but the mascot gave me heartburn. I guess that's the price you pay when your team nickname is the jalapenos.

Where was the the "I'd rather squeeze hot glue into my urethra than watch either white-trash-crappy-ideas-ugly-colors trading spaces, or bad-dialogue-writing-plots-acting-compensating-looks-for-ability buffy?" option
Jºnªthªn Back · 21 years, 9 months ago
Its always with the hot glue in your urethra with you...
lawrence · 18 years, 1 month ago
I wish I could change my vote now. When this poll was first posted, I hadn't watched a single episode. I've now watched all 145 of them and have lots and lots of opinions that it's way too late to bore everyone with four years later.

*sigh*
