Poll: How addicted to Woot.com are you?

I always mean to watch woot closer than I should. I try to remember to check every day and when there is a wootoff to check as often as possible but I tend to forget. I have bought a few things from woot

It's fine but overhyped. It's just a store.

agreed. I mean, I've bought several things from them, but it's not ALWAYS a good deal...

as far as the wootoffs... they were fun when I could check them from work, but I just don't have time anymore.

They were also more fun when they were more rare.

See, I think they should run a Woot-Off every day! And not only that: run a million of them at once!

Oh wait, that's Amazon.

I use their rss feed in google reader, which means I never forget to check it, but it also makes wootoffs kind of pointless (and annoying: "Here's a listing for an item that we've already run out of!")

For those of you who don't know what woot is go to Woot.com.

Every day they sell just one item. It goes on sale at midnight Central Time and stays on the site till they sell out. They are usually but not always some sort of electronic gadget. Wootoffs are days where when the item sells out it is immediately replaced by something else. This happens many times during the day. The most prized item is the famous Bag of Crap (BOC) that is guaranteed to include at least three pieces of crap. They sell out almost immediately and the sites servers overload.


I've bought an MP3 player, a GPS navigator, and a toy radio controlled helicopter.

Why don't other people tell what they bought including what was in their bag of crap!

I have not been able to get in on any BAC's. Always sell out before my time.

Was able to buy an XM radio with a ton of accessories and such for only $29.99. The same one I bought was just in the Best Buy add for over $100!!!
