....it is sucky. But I'm glad you wrote about it (hee. Hee because of earlier emails, I mean.) And check email now also, I just wrote back to you :) Contract work is scary. If you feel comfortable you can get at least one more gig after the one you take immediately, then it might be worth losing the security. That said, it might be worth talking to your supervisor and TELLING them you're thinking about taking other work and leaving...might prod them into doing the right thing, because I've dealt with lots of huge companies and there's ALWAYS a way around the rules if you want to badly enough.
