Yeah...any acts I like that become relatively big get priced out of my range. It's depressing. I suppose if they mean enought o me I make it happen. But few people fit in that category, even if I like them a great deal. Yeah...I think my days are pretty far behind me but because it meant so much to me I coughed up a lot to see Paul McCartney both times and also Pink Floyd. I don't regret it, they meant a lot to me. Couldn't do it today though. Ugh... forked out a pretty penny for Hairspray, but had to stalk-errr-see-- Michael McKean... and will be definitely forking it over to see the pre Broadway debut of SPAMALOT in Chicago... diddja hear who they've got for this? David Hyde Pierce AND Hank Azaria and freaking Tim Curry!!!! O.M.G. seriously!!! But yeah... I mostly see cheap bands... but stage shows and sports are a different story.... I haven't even looked at hockey tickets as of yet...

Tickets for Michael Moore in Toledo are $5. Not too shabby. :)

we shelled out the $$ to see them last year, but this year, they're doing a theater show instead of an auditorium show, so tickets are way too expensive. *sigh*
of course, if they got bill berry back, i'd pay anything they asked...
yes, i would pay any amount of money to see tom bosley.
oh, wait, wrong tom.
Tom Jones is charing WAY too much. But if I can scrape it together, I need to go and have a great laugh!!!

$23 each for the upper balcony, Everyone over 1 yr. must have a ticket. Main Floor Seats were 30 bucks each. These for shows where the target audience usually is going to have 2 parents in tow. Dora Live was even worse. $40 a piece for the main floor. We skipped that.

i'm forking over not including taxes, etc about $45 a pop to take my fiance to see ani difranco @ the beacon theatre in nyc since he's never seen her live.
i told him it would be part of his birthday present. hopefully i can scrape together the funds before tickets sell out. but usually $20-25 is the highest i can spend to see an artist.

I just forked over about $45 bucks a pop including fees and such for Indigo Girls and Girlyman at the Palace Theater in Stamford CT, which is about where I draw the limit for performers that I really really want to see.
Most of the time, I usually try to stay within an upper limit of around 20 bucks for a music show. This means that I probably won't get tickets to see REM when they go on sale on Saturday You must first create an account to post.
