so, like, when your best friend cuts off virtually all contact with you because they have a new girlfriend (ross/rachel/emily stylee), what the hell are you supposed to do about it? :P

Get on with life and try to let them be I guess. Either the situation will right itself or it won't. But I don't think any action on your part will cause that to happen at a faster pace, if it really is that kind of situation.

wah. :( i guess you're right. although right now it just feels like i've lost a twin brother. i miss our conversations most. unfortunately he also lives on the other side of the country at the moment, so it's not as if i can go round there and smack him one or anything... :D

Heh. I could just see you tranversing across the country just to go up to him to say something "what the hell?!?" and give him the thrashing of his life. :). It does bite when you feel like you lost someone so close to you. Alas, I do agree with Andrea and Nate, as much as it does suck. *hugs*

My (no longer) friend Suzanne was always doing that to me, when she started dating (I mean sleeping with) a new guy. All her relationships failed, and she always came back to be good friends with me once again, until a new guy would sleep with her.

So, um, wait it out, I guess.

Suzanne got married to a huge jerk that I hate last September. Now she lives two hours away and is all boring and humorless and seems to have no interests aside from being married. I don't miss her. So that's my happy ending. {g}
