One Good Song

Who are the musicians that you don't like but have one song that you do? I am not just talking one-hit-wonders. I am thinking of Madonna. I can't abide most of her stuff but I love Like a Prayer.

For some reason I can't get into them. but I really love "It's a Good Life if You Don't Weaken".

And more... though those last two probably fit under "One Hit Wonders"

See, I HATED More Than Words. I thought their only good song was Hole Hearted.

Just...the grammar and phrasing of MTW really bugged me. .oO More than words is all you have to do to make it real Oo. Or whatever. *shudder*

Well, as I always said.. they should have just done away with the formalities and named the song "shut up and fuck me".

nah, they're definitely more like 3 hit wonders. I now have their song "When You're Mine" earwormed... (the 3rd sorta well known song was called "I Believe" but i suppose that depends on what kind of radio you listened to in the early 90s)

I also remember "Lies" as a single and video, but I wouldn't call it a hit.

drops of jupiter please don't hate me I know it is awful but I love it. Did not like the follow up though. Maybe they count as one hit wonders but these bands seem to keep coming back like the calling.

I also liked that Chad Kroegaer one for Spiderman though I think Nickleback are the Westlife of Nu Metal (Westlife are a bit like 98 degrees)

I am currently blaming Fil for my new found love of lovesongs which is a trifle unfair but has to be done.
I also hate "more than words" now Westlife have covered it. They are awful.
