It's finally out. Pick up a copy hot off the press for $10. ;)
I just heard a live recording of Josh last night, and was amazed. I had no idea he was so good. Cannot wait to get this CD. which makes me wonder, how many other fhdcers have CDs out, or even just perform music live, or write songs. I know there must be quite a lot, as fruheads are musical folks, hmm, maybe a poll is in order.
Thanks a bunch :)
I know of Goovie and Wormy, and Mark Bradbourne with his band Lost In America, John, Lawrence, and I'm sure billions of others that I'm not thinking of. There's a lot of talent in Fruheaddom. ;)
Oh duh, and Christina Abbott. Both of who kick serious butt.
neal plays violin and sings really well. *squee*
there are a looooot of fruhead singers. besides those of us already mentioned, i can think of joy, gella, melissa, ellen g., keli, ellen w., squee, and kath off the top of my head. bill and trunger are both great musicians as well (come back upstairs this year, guys!), donna sings and play(s? ed?) bassoon...and Alan Mendelsohn isn't a fruhead but she kicks serious musical ass. :) and i *know* i'm leaving a ton of people out.
dwd. yes. i could only get my brain to remember people i'd sung with in the past...and i don't think i've ever gotten to sing with kat or george, and i've never met eri. which. is not fair.
Hey, I sing barbershop too! And I'm featured on my chorus's Christmas CD. There is also my old ska band Professor Plum, where I recorded on their full length and a short EP, as well as numerous marching band and wind ensemble CDs from Rutgers.
"dick van dyke?"
"oh, you just made that one up."
just ordered my copy yesterday.
now when's the wormy cd coming out, hmm? and*cough*i'mactuallyrecordingsoon*cough*
You are!?
That's great! I loved the song you posted the other night! :)
yupyup. if anything good comes of it, i'll probably post some mp3s to my lj or song circle. and thanks! :)
