Poll: Are you going to SMAF?

I was going to just post this to the Camp Fruvous Yahoo group but decided that others might be interested.

It is official, the Budgiedome is heading south to the Susquehanna Music and Arts Festival, Mother's Day Weekend, May 7,8, and 9. You have your choice of camping or being a wimp and staying in a cabin. Some of the performers are

I think having an ocean between you and the festival is a reasonable excuse....For this year.

phew.

now I can relax.

of course, you realise that there'll be almost the same amount of distance between me and the festival next year, as there is this year, right?

Of course I do, but you don't have to cross an ocean and you'll have more time to get there. Let me see if you walk the whole way you can do it in about two months.

even if I were going to SMAF, I'd be coming from DC, not Philadelphia.

I was signed on to go, but I really can't now. I could do, but I would feel extreme guilt. This is because my parents and sister are in town to celebrate another sister's new baby, I have to do some wedding song rehearsal stuff while my sister is in town, it's Mother Day weekend, that kind of stuff. Basically, it's family suicide if I go to Maryland for the whole weekend while they are there.

I'm very sad about this, but it's certainly not the first time family obligations have gotten in the way of show-going.
