I think you should see death cab for cutie! sounds a bit like Martin Tielli, just a bit less weird. I've only heard a few mp3's by them, but they're really awesome.

Or you could see Kelly Willis...she's good, I'm just not that partial to country music. I'm not sure who the other guy is, so I may be a bit bias. But...there's my opinion.

I've really liked everything I've heard by her. Of course, I also have to give points to Death Cab for Cutie for the name.
