Up until Reinhold came out, yes.

Wasn't a big fan of that (other than a couple awesome songs)... and his solo stuff hasn't dont much for me either.

But I looooooooove the earlier stuff.

Bah. You have it backwards there Nate ;-)

His early stuff was good, but Reinhold was a turning point. That and his solo stuff is where his writing and music really shine.

But then, we've had this argument before, haven't we? ;-)

perhaps... if you like cheese-ass 70's horns and arrangements.

Ugh.

Incidentally... I find it really funny how this place.... fhdc.. is such a microcosm of weird opinions.

This is the only place I've ever heard anyone praise reinhold and later. Most everyone I know has a similar opinion to mine... except... most of them aren't so generous about reinhold.

I really do think it has a couple brilliant tracks.

Reinhold was brilliant. :)

But so was the other stuff. The first album was their worst, though.

well, how could the album with Sports and Wine on it not be the worst? :)

nononono, Jackson Cannery is enough to make that album great for me.... so hyper... STOOOOOOOOOOOP the bus!!!

Anyway... heard something about Robert Sledge having a new band. Does anyone have any info on that?

Actually, I like Sports and Wine.

And Philosophy is one of my favorite songs.

My vote for weakest album is Whatever and Ever, Amen, but I know I'm in the vast minority on that. I like most of the songs, but I don't like how they're aranged.

Heh.
And that's my favorite.
:)

I agree, though, I like Sports and Wine.
