Gordon

You know what I want to see? I want to see Gordon on Jeopardy. I watch it every day and every day I think "I wonder what Gordon's run was like!" I want! :) It's always been a dream of mine to be on the show. The one time I tried I only made it past the first test. Bah. I still want to though. It impresses me immensely that Gordon was!

You have no idea how scary it was to look at the forums and see my name on it. I hoped that it was about the BNL album.

I can handle this though. Thanks for the kind words. Some day you'll get to see the tape.

i've seen gordon on jeopardy a few times. it's fun to watch him kick the ass of that lutheran clown. :)

If someone can dupe it I'd circulate it. I'm still missing the only tape I had that had one of my victories on it. I lent it to somebody and never got it back. i have no idea who has it.

I decided last night that part of his problem is he's a really bad interviewer. He knows, I assume, what people's stories are going to be before asking them. Yet the way he asks is often out of line with the excitement (or lack thereof) of the story and makes it seem so anticlimactic. He asks it like it's going to be a huge deal, they tell their little story, and he acts disappointed like "that's all?" It just makes people look dumb and boring and I don't think they're as bad as it seems!

My first show I won $20,800, that's back before the doubled the money. If I had bet more I could have set the all-time record but I bet to guarentee the victory. AFter he saw what I bet made it sound like I wimped out.

and he's totally on drugs or something in those episodes. "so, mary, what did you put down? i hope it was something funny!" and of course the "intellectual feet" line. :)

I just hate how when noone answers a question, or they get it wrong he goes "What is whatever_the_answer_is", and does it in such a way to imply "you brain dead, knuckle dragging, near apes" at the end of what he says.

Sure, it's easy when you've got the answer right in front of you Alex boy. Just once, I'd love to see the tables turned on him.
