The perfect gift

What is the best gift you've ever gotten? What gift would you love to recieve? I'm not talking about the 'gift of family' or crap like that. I'm talking about the stuff you REALLY want.

As long as we're on the gift subject, what is the worst gift you've been given? You can do the family bit here if you want.

To start us out, the best gift I ever have recieved was this awsome pair of socks. I love socks.. Socks are the most wonderful thing in the world.
The gift I'd most like to recieve... $2000 and a pair of neat socks.
The worst gift I've ever recieved? Heh.. a bikini wax from a bf on our 6th month anniversary.

The best gift I've ever gotten was my kitty, Hamlet. Josh got him for me for our first Christmas together. Can't imagine life without my slightly snobby hedonist of a cat! A close second would be a book called Panda Cake that my brother bought me for Christmas in 1982.

I'm skipping the 'gift I would love to receive' question. sorry!

worst gift, hmm, i guess years ago, when one of my ex's parents bought me a Xmas gift and made him deliver it in the hopes that we'd get back together?

what about best gift ever given? i think my most successful gift was a juice can i painted black and put on colored dot stickers that i drew smiley faces on for a pen holder for my dad. it was more than 20 years ago, he still uses it.

the best gift I ever got was a pastel of a waterfall done by a local artist that reminded me of something I had written years before.  My mom saw it and said "hey, that's exactly like the story Jillian wrote" and bought it for my birthday.

worst present was 6 issues of "Radiance: The Magazine for Fat Women" from my aunt.

HAHAH *cough*

the best gift ever? a plastic rat that a friend of mine stole from dennys... we named him floyd... he squeeks.

worst? ... a gift certificate to a caotholic statue store thingy... *shiver* life sized jesus' with the sadest eyes staring right at you....

Have you ever seen the Jesus action figures that Conan sometimes shows on his show?  Priceless.

Oooh! I saw those, and Dungee and I ordered a catolog, and bought a hologram jesus. It hangs in our bathroom now.. as that is where you should put hologram Jesus.

As long as we're on the subject of Jesus.. or I am anyhow, a few nights ago Dungee and I were driving home after playing guitar on the street for money, and saw a semi large "Vacation Bible School" sign with a picture of Jesus talking. So we stole it.. which now seems wrong on many levels... Anyhow we cut out the mouth of Jesus, so now we can tell each other what to do.. but it's not us telling each other what to do.. it's Jesus, so the other person has to do it, or else "Jesus will be very sad."  Is that weird? Talking to your roommate as Jesus?
