Review of "Sense & Sensibility" | ||||
Information:What is the title of this book? Sense & Sensibility Who wrote this book?Jane Austen What genre is this book?Classics Give a short summary of this book:Sisters find love in the most adverse circumstances Reviews:I really liked this book. I did not enjoy it quite so much as Pride and Prejudice, but it does come a close second. I read this before P&P, and I came to love the characters, with the exception of Marianne Dashwood. I find that Marianne is just as immature and whiney as Lydia Bennet. For such a character to be displeased with all in the world for such a trifle as Mr. Willoughby, it grates on my nerves. Marianne does naught by complain. Elinor I find to be much more pleasing of a character, being a bit more headstrong and intelligent. Also, I highly regard the patience of Colonel Brandon with the likes of Marianne. Why any man would wish for such an abominable fluff for a wife is beyond me. To rate this, log in.
