How many times have you moved in your lifetime?
Not necessarily. If you go to college in your hometown because you can't afford going away, you don't move. My first choice school, had I stayed, I would have a loan the size of a mortgage in 1993 (after 4 years) which would equal a nice house in the Town of Amherst, NY. I was prepared to put myself that much into debt once common sense kicked in.
Now if some Navy/Army brats posted here, we would have many moves which none of us could top. :)
That should be "wasn't" prepared.
Can't proofread yet - only two cups o'coffee today. ;)
Really? I've been to two colleges since 1990. That's not including my initial choice which I withdrew from (NYU) in 1989.
First and Second Bachelor of Science 1995 and 1996 my hometown and state school. Working on another degree to get me out of this hellhole which is still in my hometown. The school that is offering the degree is one of two in the country - both located in New York State. The one in Hamburg is a private college and cheaper than Utica private college.
Hee- I am glad you posted here mom, because I was trying to count and it made my head hurt. I don't think it is over 20 for me either, though there were all those apartments... way over 10 in any case.
As you can see, my family likes to move. We just like it. M

I spent the first 18 years of my life in the same city, in the same house...I moved to Baltimore for college...4 years, 4 dorm rooms and 1 house later, I moved back home...then once I got a job, I moved back to Baltimore. I've been here 2 years now and I'm looking desperately for a new job so I can make the biggest move of my life out to Chicago.
