What sort of toothpaste do you use?

Why are there so many toothpastes that aren't ADA approved? You'd like to think that they'd be approved before they hit the shelves.
That's what I use, and I love it. Arm & Hammer makes a baking soda powder toothpaste. It's really hard to find, but it's great. I hate the slimy tube stuff.

Anti-tartar and whitening in a gel with cool glitter stuff (maybe pumice flakes are shiny?) that works well with my Braun toothbrush.
My favorite by taste is Aim gel.

I use Tom's of Maine Cinnamint or Wintergreen toothpase. (Preferably cinnamint.) Tasty and not filled with sweeteners I'm allergic to!

I'm really surprised that this poll was chosen. {g}
And I use gel. My uncle, who lives with me uses the same exact brand of toothpaste as I do (Colgate Total), but he buys paste. I don't know why anyone would choose paste. I never feel like it works as well. Maybe I'm just imagining it.

...because i use toothpaste that's a mix of gel *and* paste (and has floss in the cap, though it's kind of crappy floss). i'm not picky. as long as the toothpaste doesn't taste gross (hello, citrus-flavor crest), i'm down. twice a day, yo', and 22 years sans cavities and counting. *beams*

Yeah, I'm a poor college student, so I just buy what's there. I like the whitening stuff.
Anybody ever try Burts Beeswax? You must first create an account to post.
