Just BARELY hit the 1997 because my first show was 12/6/97. Boo-yah, Lowest
Highest Point show. Heckuva way to start. :)
Man...I can't believe it will have been 5 years this December. It both seems like
forever and just yesterday.

Ah, the day I was "adopted" by the Fruheads. From that moment on, my show-
going would never be the same....
I looked in the show reviews for the Jian Kills Cats comment, but couldn't find it.
When did that happen in the show?
October 4, 1997 - one of the shows used during the "Live Noise" tapings. It started off with Message and went into Down from Above, Horseshoes, Fly,
Present Tense Tureen, Poor Mary Lane and On Her Doorstep (which I thought was going to be a "wood" show.) After all that my dad asked, "Do they
get any funnier?" =) Well of course they did! :D
King of Spain was listed as October 3rd on the LN CD, but it's really the 4th when you get an actual copy of the show. Christine.
the domain http://www.jiankillscats.com used to be redirected to either
fruvous.com or fruhead.com
now it looks like it's redirected to new.fruhead.com Christine.

First show July 1/94 (Canada Day) in my hometown of Chatham ON. Still amazes me that they played there not once, but *twice* at the Festival of
Nations - Chatham usually has *crappy* taste in music *g* (The show they played in 95 - which I missed by a week - was the one where Jian fell
through the makeshift stage in front of the bandshell (I'm presuming that's where it was, since the bandshell itself is concrete) during soundcheck..)

I said '97, but it was really '98...freshman year of high school (which began in '97,
but the show was in the spring...), outdoor show at the Lilac Festival. I climbed
trees during the first 3 bands, then had a front-row standing spot for Frvous. And
I still make jokes about the first improv. I saw them do: "I wish I had a lawn." :)
So, tip the currently-tied balance in favor of '98, please.
oops! I'm sorry. I didn't think it through enough. My fault entirely.
Ack! Too...many....cute...cats...on...this...page...
I'm gonna become all ooshy wooshy and miss my kitties! :) -AK You must first create an account to post.
