Poll: Did you have wire bracelets as a kid?

My wife and I are making wire Bracelets and we were wonding if it was a local fad or something that took elementry school kids by storm in the 80's.

I thought you might me braces at first. I never heard of wire bracelets.

Really? because I can totally picture you with a mullet, three swatch watches, acid wased jeans that are way too tight, a florcent yellow T shirt that is five sizes too big and a wire bracelet.

I used to make mine out of the piano strings they threw away behind the piano repair shop.� They were way cooler than everyone elses bracelets... btw.

Sadly I don't even have any to take pictures of even.� Crappy thing about moving a lot, you lose a lot of things.

I wasn't serious about the seams, I usually put clasps on the ones I made as it makes them easier to put on and off, basically it's just like the one above but with a basic clip type clasp on it.

Did the three watches make you super on-time?

It Was 1985. For Me It Was All Michael Jackson, Back To The Future, GI Joe, and Mr. T. Somewhare someone said it was cool. I mean explain to me the pop princess and parashoot pants fads, and I will figure out multiple watches.

I was mostly kidding. I wore spandex pants and snap bracelets in the '80s...I was also a child in the '80s, thank goodness. ;)

If I had a picture of me from back in the day (Wich for some reason I don't) I would post it, but I think it would be cool of we all posted pictures of ourselves from the eighties.
