Poll: When was the last time you went to a sporting event?

Jeremy and I went to see our first college football game last fall, it was fun

last thing i went to was a boxing match :)

It was a required part of my 9th grade trip to new york.

My class chose that over spending a day in tv studios.

I'm generally not a spectator sport person only sometimes. The last thing I did in that respect was to attend a football soccer match...

Cubs at Pirates, April 15. Unfortunately, the Cubs lost, because their bullpen stinks and their hitters don't know how to drive runs in in the late innings. Other than that, it was great.

Last sporting event I've been to was a Cornell-Princeton hockey game in Princeton back in Feb. 2004, where Cornell won 5-0...and there was much rejoicing mainly due to the fact that there were a whole slew of Cornell Alumni from the NYC area at the game.

If it weren't for Passover I'd have gone to the Met game yesterday. I went the Sunday before that. I might go tomorrow.

I have season tix to the Knicks, and a Sunday plan and an 8 Pack for the Mets.

Am I the only one so far? I'm such a jock :-)

I saw Cardinals vs. Cubs last week. Great rivalry... mostly. This Cubs fan and this Cardinals fan sitting by me were exchanging words and were about to "take it outside" when the Cards fan's little son starting bawling and they thankfully didn't duke it out. Pathetic.

I don't go to Midd sporting events as often as I should, but last weekend my suitemate's frisbee game and a big exciting lacrosse game were on adjacent fields so I watched a bit of both. :)

Aside from games/sports I participated in, which were many years ago anyways, the last real sporting event I went to was the Red Sox vs. Toronto Blue Jays, June 26 (I believe), 1986.� The Sox lost 2-0, 'cause some jerk hit a two run homer into the center/right right bleachers, and I believe it landed in row 3.� My memory is strange.� I'm pretty sure it was June 26th.� Birthday-related.� Bleh.

I saw the Philadelphia Kixx play a few weeks ago. My a cappella group was there to sing the national anthem. :)

I played in a lacrosse game for school last thursday, and I watched the high school game this afternoon. if those count. if not:

as for a professional match of any kind...I think that'd have to be 4 years ago: in fourth grade the chorus went to a Phantoms game to sing the nat'l anthem. :)

dayton dragons! they finished LAST in their league in '04. and our firm gives every employee 4 free tickets! woo!

also, I saw the U of Dayton/Yale football game last September--and Yale won! heh.
