Today in gym class we practised for the "beep test".
Pylons are set up 20 meters of each other and you have to run back and forth between them and reach the far one at the sound of the "beep", with the time between beeps getting shorter and shorter. There are 8 levels, and this is worth 10% of our final mark. I made it to level 1 and a half. i was so depressed i wanted to cry. i think if this were the real test i would have gotten about 10%. for a perfectionist and overachiever like me, it is insanely frustrating to know theres not much i can do to avoid failing this portion of the class. i try to exercise as much as possible, eat healthy when i can, etc, but my current state of health wont allow me to function at an optimal level. In fact, as of late I've been feeling as though i have mono which scares me... I"ve been for momo tests before and apparently i dont have it. Honestly, part of me just wishes i did have it, so i could ascribe my current state of health to an actual medical problem, instead of just feeling like a lazy bastard who sleeps too much. im sure theres a few of you out there who will concur.

I currently jog about 2 1/2 miles a day (my goal is to do a 5K run by Dec. or Jan.), and I do 100 situps with my abdominizer. I also do 20 push ups (not deep ones, though). I haven't been able to get to the gym since my car was stolen, though, so I haven't been able to do my weight training :(
I like all that stuff too!
We should yoga/swim/pilates/bike together

Yay for cross country running! I run 6 days a week through beautiful forrests and rolling hills. It keeps me in good shape. I also do sit-ups and push-ups every night if it is not too late. Tip to all high schoolers: if you want to get in shape and you don't play sports, join a team like cross country or track. Most cross country teams are desparate for runners, especially boys. You don't even have to be good when you join; I've had to restart my entire training twice after injuries, and I always get back in shape after a few weeks. It is very fun and rewarding.

I just joined a gym 3 weeks ago. First time in my life I'm actually trying to incorporate a workout routine into my week. I've steadied out at 2ce a week - Sunday and Wednesday nights - and I want to find a third time that seems to work as too.
Damn, just caught the typo. Well that explains my confusion, I meant to write "exorcize." I couldn't figure out why nobody was talking about demons.
